The current company IDIOMAS Y EVENTOS LTDA. is a company founded by Marcial Díaz Contreras back in 2009, as entrepreneurship
with the fantasy name "Subtítulos y Eventos", with the purpose of providing language services
(translation, subtitling, captioning and interpretation),
mainly in English, German and Spanish, as well as simultaneous
interpretation/translation services with sound equipment
(booths, wireless receivers, videoconference platforms, etc.) for
congresses, conferences, seminars, webinars, training courses, workshops, etc.
Since April 2013 Subtítulos & Eventos became S & E, Idiomas y Eventos S.p.A., strengthening the work accomplished before 2013.
In January 2022 the company changed its name to IDIOMAS Y EVENTOS LTDA., with Marcial Díaz as legal representative,
and focusing almost exclusively on interpretation services.

» Onsite simultaneous interpretation / simultaneous translation in English, German, French and other languages.
» For congresses, conferences, seminars, workshops, training events, meetings, etc.
» Several types of modern booths and wireless sound equipment for different events at competitive prices.
» Hybrid or combined onsite/remote services. For example: an event at a venue with wireless receivers and transmission by means of a platform to be defined to onsite and remote participants' devices (mobile phones, tablets, laptops).
» Remote simultaneous interpretation / simultaneous translation by means of platforms such as ZOOM, MICROSOFT TEAMS, as well as connection to other suppliers' STREAMING platforms.
» For webinars, seminars, training courses, workshops, meetings, etc., remotely implemented, either with all participants from different locations or the client and interpreter from an office (in Chile) in communication with other people located in different places.
» Hybrid or combined remote/onsite services. For example: an event at a venue with wireless receivers, booth and transmission to onsite and remote participants' devices (mobile phones, tablets, laptops) by means of a platform to be defined.
» Audiovisual system usually composed of following items:
• Laptops with web cams mounted on tripods for transmission of the live event together with the simultaneous translation by means of our company's ZOOM platform for up to 500 participants. Remote participants can see and hear clearly, while onsite participants can watch and listen to remote attendees.
• Portable backup internet modem for transmission via Zoom or other platforms in the case of customers or venues without internet connection or poor signal.
• Computers connected to internet by means of Ethernet cables plugged directly into the modem.
• As an option close captioning or subtitling of simultaneous translation, which the remote participant can activate or enable by clicking on the respective tab or button. Onsite participants can see these subtitles on a screen. This can provide a more inclusive event for your audience (participants with auditory impairment).
• Audio mixers with equalization for the interpretation output sound, which enables a clearer audio with higher definition to people listening to the interpretation.
• Booths or sound insulation in interpretation rooms for transmissions free of background noise.
• UPS (uninterruptible power supply) / batteries for continuity in services, in case of unexpected electric power failures.

» Interpretation in English, German, and other languages.
» For business meetings, factory, industry, mining site and plant tours, assisting foreign executives, engineers and delegations from Germany, Europe in general, the United States, Asia, etc.
» Services almost always include a portable and wireless sound system to turn consecutive interpretation into more simultaneous and dynamic services. Specially during meetings and training events than what a conventional consecutive interpreter might offer by taking notes on a notepad with pauses and interruptions.
» Hybrid or combined onsite/remote services. For example: a meeting at an office or conference room with wireless receivers, booth, and transmission thereof to onsite and remote participants' devices (mobile phones, tablets, laptops) by means of a platform to be defined.
